Behind my logo
My logo is an expression of my identity and intention. It draws inspiration from my zodiac sign (Aquarius) and my nickname in high school, Michiru, which reflects my deep appreciation for Japanese culture.
Aquarius traits are innovative, curious and community-oriented. A fitting metaphor for how I approach UX design. I strive to create thoughtful, future-focused solutions that are human-centered and socially meaningful.
The wave form in my logo deconstructs the letters M, M & S (short for Michiru Maeda Studio). It’s also a nod to the Aquarius symbol. And the “studio” part? That’s my creative corner at home, library, coworking space, etc where all the ideas come together.
